Meet our board members

  • Founder - Member

    Greg Goodman is the founder of the Meadow E. Goodman Foundation and a passionate advocate for mental health awareness. After the tragic loss of his daughter Meadow to suicide in 2023, Greg and his family established the foundation in her name to support youth mental health, suicide prevention, and access to care for teens, LGBTQIA+ youth, musicians, and their families.

    Greg also serves as Vice President of The Goodman Corporation (TGC), where he has over 20 years of experience leading infrastructure planning, grant strategy, and construction administration. He has successfully secured significant state and federal funding to help communities across Texas implement critical public projects.

    In addition to his work in public infrastructure and philanthropy, Greg is the CEO and Owner of KTonic LLC, a manufacturer of functional beverages. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity University and remains deeply committed to building stronger, healthier communities through service and innovation.

    Barry M. Goodman is a visionary leader in Texas’ transportation sector, with over 45 years of experience improving mobility across urban and rural communities. As founder of The Goodman Corporation, Barry has led efforts to secure and implement over $2 billion in transportation-related capital improvements, advancing public transit, regional planning, and environmental outcomes across the state.

    A pivotal figure in Houston’s transit evolution, Barry served as the city’s Director of Public Transportation in the 1970s, where he helped establish the Texas Public Transit Trust Fund and co-founded Houston METRO, serving as its first Executive Director. His leadership laid the groundwork for Houston’s first regional mobility plan and continues to influence infrastructure development statewide.

    In 2021, Barry was inducted into the Texas Transportation Hall of Honor. Today, he serves on the board of the Meadow E. Goodman Foundation, where he brings his lifelong commitment to public service and community impact to advance mental health awareness and access.

  • Board Member

    David Schneider has called Austin home since 1985 and has worked as a trusted real estate broker in Central Texas since 2005. While he’s proud of his successful career helping individuals and families buy, sell, and invest in the region, David’s deepest passion lies in community service and philanthropy.

    He served on the board of Easterseals Central Texas for over a decade, including five years as Chair, supporting its mission to empower individuals with disabilities to live independent and fulfilling lives. He is also the co-founder of DNS Live Music Promotions, a nonprofit that combines his love of music with advocacy, hosting benefit concerts for organizations such as the American Cancer Society, HAAM, and PAWliska Rescue Reunite.

    David is proud to serve on the board of the Meadow E. Goodman Foundation, helping to honor Meadow’s legacy through events like MeadowFest and programs that support youth mental health, suicide prevention, and community wellness.
